JUNIOR SOCCER STARS (rising K-3rd grades - Coach Chrissy Verchick) - Let’s play soccer! Dribble, shoot, trap and pass the week away at SPX Soccer Camp! If you already know how to play soccer, then come improve your skills. We will put our soccer talents to use in small-sized games, team play, world cuppies and much more. If you’ve never played but want to learn, this camp will be perfect for you. Either way, we will turn you into an SPX Soccer Star!
HAWAIIAN BEACH PARTY (rising K-5th grades - Mrs. Christine Bond) - Aloha! Sand, sun and fun definitely describe this week of camp! We will enjoy all of the wonders Hawaii has to offer as we create a virtual oasis. Through our creativity and craft design you will feel that you are enjoying the warm Pacific waters at camp while never really leaving home! We will dance to traditional Hawaiian music, wear tropical clothes and indulge ourselves in the bounty of Hawaiian life. Come to Hawaiian Beach Party and enjoy a true stay-cation!
SCIENCE EXPLORERS (rising K-5th grades - Mrs. Laura Collins) - Calling all explorers! Are you ready for a new adventure? We will journey into all realms of the science world – past, present and future. If you enjoy digging for archaeological treasure, exploding things, creating new ideas for inventions and figuring out why things work the way they do, then this camp is sure to be a blast.
AWESOME ADVENTURES (rising K-6th grades - Mrs. Cathy Brown) - We’ll begin our voyage as we take a look under the sea and journey to Treasure Island. Next we’ll explore the oceans as pirates and protect castles as knights. We’ll even travel to outer space where we’ll join in on Space Wars! Each day will provide a new and exciting adventure as we travel into the past and back to the future.
SHOWBIZ KIDZ (rising K-9th grades - Ms. Elizabeth Bradshaw) - Do you love to dance, sing, act or play a musical instrument? Well, this is definitely the place to be! We are looking for campers who enjoy performing in front of an audience. Each day we will work on our talents, create stage props and prepare for a grand finale on Friday. You do not want to miss out on this great opportunity to wow the crowd! CLOSED!!!
FUN AND FITNESS (rising 2nd-9th grades - Miss Katie Anderson) - Let’s have fun and get fit! Every morning we will strengthen our bodies with stretches, exercises, obstacle courses and mild cardiovascular activities such as yoga, jump roping, hula hoops and aerobics. Don’t worry, we will not spend the entire day exercising! We will also learn about healthy foods to eat as we make smoothies and create fun and healthy snacks.
